The M6PRE fully balanced preamp is genuinely fully balanced; from beginning to end. Many preamps claim to be balanced but in fact are single ended preamps with balanced inputs and balanced outputs. Unlike them, the M6PRE is the real deal.

Our preamplifiers feature the same superior construction, innovative technology, and uncompromising design approach seen in our amplifiers. The preamp circuitry includes our Current Mode topology, which delivers open-loop linearity 500 times greater than that of typical preamp circuits. We use no negative feedback in our preamps, in order to assure that every sonic detail comes through with perfect clarity. One result of our efforts is a total lack of audible noise - our preamps can drop to a complete silence that is simply breathtaking. While many reject modern technology in favor of trusted, old-fashioned components, we prefer to blend the two. Our stereo preamplifiers use only analog audio circuitry, but the analog circuits are controlled by digital microprocessors. This arrangement delivers the performance and sound of analog with reliability and repeatability that mechanical control components cannot match.
